License terms, purchases and refunds, acceptable use, and limitations. Last updated: August 27, 2025

Use the apps with confidence

These terms keep Mythic GME apps fair for everyone. They cover licensing, purchases, refunds, and how we rely on third-party services.

1) Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mythic GME apps and website operated by Jason Holt Digital LLC ("JHD", "we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the apps, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the apps.

2) Products Covered

  • Mythic GME Mobile — iOS, Android, macOS, and web
  • Mythic GME Digital — Windows, macOS, and Linux

Mythic Game Master Emulator 2nd Edition and related names are trademarks of and © Word Mill Creative LLC. Used under license. JHD develops the official licensed digital companions.

3) License and Use

Subject to these Terms, JHD grants you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to install and use the apps for personal, non‑commercial tabletop play. You may not copy, distribute, sell, sublicense, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works except as permitted by law.

  • Official content: Licensed Mythic text and tables are for in‑app use only; do not extract or redistribute.
  • User content: Your journals, scenes, and custom tables remain yours and stay on your device unless you export/share them.
  • Prohibited use: No unlawful, infringing, or automated scraping activities.

4) Purchases, Subscriptions, and Taxes

Pricing and availability may vary by platform and region. Purchases made through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or itch.io are processed by those stores; their terms and tax/VAT handling apply.

  • In‑app purchases: Delivery is immediate once the store confirms your purchase.
  • Taxes/VAT: Collected and remitted by the storefront as applicable.
  • Receipts: Provided by the store or by itch.io for direct desktop purchases.

5) Refunds

Refunds for purchases made via a platform store are handled under that store’s policy. If you need help initiating a request, contact us and we’ll point you to the correct process.

6) Third‑Party Services

The apps interface with third‑party services for analytics and diagnostics as described in our Privacy Policy. Use of those services is subject to their terms. No advertising SDKs are used.

7) Disclaimers

THE APPS AND WEBSITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPS WILL BE ERROR‑FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

8) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JHD AND ITS LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APPS. TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JHD and its licensors from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the apps.

10) Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. You may uninstall or discontinue use at any time; this does not entitle you to refunds beyond each platform’s policies.

11) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the apps evolve. We’ll update the “Last Updated” date above and, when needed, announce changes in-app. Continued use after updates means you accept the new Terms.

12) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Venue for disputes shall be the state or federal courts located in Delaware, where permissible.

13) App Store Requirements

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to their terms. Neither Apple nor Google is responsible for providing maintenance or support for the app.
